Egvekinot to Pevek and beyond
By now it's January and winter has truly set in. The team is cycling and sking on a winter road that has been created by track vehicles that pack down a path through the snow.

 

Anadyr
Colin had a medical emergency in Egvekinot and was rushed by ice breaker to Anadyr for hospitalization and flown home to Vancouver for surgery. When Colin returned to Anadyr, the team went back to Egvekinot and resumed their journey.



Providenya to Egvekinot
A Russian female adventurer, Yulya, met up with the team in Providenya and the trio hiked 800km over roadless wilderness to Egvekinot.



Bering Sea - success

Bering Sea - first attempt
The first attempt at crossing the Bering Sea was not successful as a storm sprang up and they had to return to Alaska.

Fairbanks
Colin and Tim went to Fairbanks to pick up their rowboat and brought it back to the place in the river where they removed their canoe. Then they continued their journey down the Yukon River by rowboat.

All equipment was transferred to a canoe and the duo paddled from Whitehorse to just past Fairbanks.



Whitehorse
Tim and Colin arrived by bycicle in Whitehorse on June 27th.



The Cassiar Highway
Hyder to north of Cassiar



Tintagel to Hyder (Alaska)
By June 16th, the team cycled 1600 km to Hyder, Alaska and Julie returned home while Colin and Julie continued by biclycle to Whitehorse.



Williams Lake to Tintagel

Vancouver to Williams Lake
Colin, Tim and Julie left Vancouver on June 1st.
