FAQs

What will the presentation be like?
The presentation will be approximately 2.5 hours with intermission.  It will be a multi-media presentation, including video, photographs, audio, stage props, and interaction with the audience.  Colin and Julie will bring all audio visual equipment required.

What kind of venue is appropriate?
The venue should be large enough to accommodate the expected audience.  There will be an intermission so the venue will need to allow people to leave their seats and stretch their legs. A screen and the ability to power an LCD projector will be required to show the film and photographs.  A stage or space at the front of the room is preferred as Colin and Julie will be actively involved in the presentation.

When will the tour reach my part of Canada?
The tour will start in British Columbia in September 2006 and then move eastwards.  Its speed of progress is dependent on how extensive the tour is in each province, which has not yet been finalized.

How will my host presentation be promoted?
All tour locations will be listed on the website and the organizer will be shown as the key contact.  We will promote the tour through newspapers, radio and television at a national level with a focus on specific regional areas too. Colour posters and B&W leaflets detailing the presentation will be provided for you, allowing you to promote the event in your community.  A press kit and media guide will also be provided to help you promote the event through local newspapers and television programs.
